I taught myself how to sew because I wanted two things: Proper fit and a classic aesthetic.

After years of trying on clothes made by other people, I discovered this was no easy order to fill. Department stores were too trendy and their sizes didn’t fit my petite hourglass shape. Vintage clothing agreed with my figure but made me feel like I was wearing a costume. What was a girl to do? Why, sew her own clothes from vintage patterns and edit them for a modern aesthetic, of course!

My "Modern Inspired Vintage" pieces are not stuck in the past or in the fleetingly trendy moment. They are timeless, well made, handcrafted garments you can invest in and love for years to come.

Modern Classics

This is a line I designed myself based on my favorite looks of 50s and 60s. The pieces are drafted to fit according to current US standard dress sizes.

It’s Meant To Be

These unique gems are made directly from my stash of vintage sewing patterns. I do a bit of altering to each piece to make them more modern (shortening hemlines, etc) but I do not grade the sizes up or down. If you love a piece and it comes in your size, it’s meant to be yours!
